--One does, doesn't one?
-One does what?
--That which one tries to do not.
-In what way, yea, how does one mean? Does one not live ones life trying what one does, playing with all that is possible, thus doing that which one tries definitely to do?
--Not when one does, as often many ones do, spend much of ones mind upon the task of fearing ones actions within that state of All That Is Possible. To be conscious of that which one attempts not to do, such as apprehension of fear, overindulgence and anger, will inherently bring ones reactions to these things to the forefront of that consciousness. Thus, making occasion for ones wishful un-deeds to filter slowly into deeds.
-Well said. Yet do not these deeds total a small amount of ones true doings? Is not turning these un-deeds into lessons, one defeating the purposes of intent, the reason one awakens each day, because it is an ongoing battle that one wins only at sleeptime? Ones statement does fail in the light shed by all living things through the lens of a small truth.
--One has never said pointedly, "one does that which one tries not, always"! Yet one could have said consistently and been correct. One should shine life's light into ones own eyes, and weigh ones heavy tongue more readily. There are so many ones, insulting so many more ones in a myriad of ways in just such an uncountable number of means, this world needs no more of it. One had merely come to the conclusion that, try as one may, one does, truly does, do that which one tries not. Often.
-And praytell, sweet sister, what actually sprung that trap in ones mind? Does one feel a sudden surge of un-deeds coming to the front of the Pool Of Possibility? If so perhaps distance is suggested.
--Dear sister, fear not ones self. One had just had a glimpse of ones own misgivings. No imbalance, however minute, was meant by it.
-Well said then. Let one marvel upon it for a time. One does, doesn't one?
--One does what?
-One does thirst for that which one should not drink, to follow your path.
--One must agree. yet does one not win that very combat with oneself every sunset as well? For truly, were one to imbibe, say even quaff that which one should not drink, One mightn't live to see ones wakeup. It is so small an infusion, that something that drives ones to continue with hope, while all the surrounding stimuli inform ones that hope is not a thing one should drink.
-One would toast hope to the six directions and the umpteen spirits unseen, loudly, were not this ale long and gone. yet one thirsts, and one definitely does.
--One does what?
-One does detect the faint odor of boiling barleys from the direction of that man-thing-place. perhaps one could steal in, whiskers and tail, and procure an a mount suitable for further conversation.
--One should and good speed. Oh, and one should keep ones eye out for a mouse-one. And catnip.
-
A silent slither in the tall grass and the evening turns into morning. All that is Possible and all that is Forbidden and ALL that ones do will be done today as yesterday.
